Priory Maze and Gardens
The Priory is an absolutely beautiful garden where you will find a collection of exotic and rare plants. There is a traditional hedge maze (great for kids), and the gardens are full of wildlife including birds, mammals, and insects. A number of their plants are available for sale and there are also some tea rooms to enjoy a drink and slice of cake.

Bakers and Larners
You would be hard pressed to find a more impressive department store than Bakers and Larners. Their food hall is massive and you can find the most obscure ingredients such as black squid ink pasta, and they have the most fantastic selection of fresh coffee, tea, and cheese. A mooch around is very much recommended during your cottage holiday.

Wells and Walshingham Light Railway
A scenic day out for all the family is the Wells and Walshingham Light Railway. You can catch the train from Wells, and then stop off at Walshingham to explore its many shops, restuarants and inns before catching the train back, or vice-versa. This railway is home of the ‘Norfolk Hero’ which can only be found on this line.

North Norfolk Railway
A steam service operating between Sheringham, Weybourne and Holt with a frequent service hauled by steam and nostalgic diesel locomotives. They hold regular special themed events.

Cromer Pier Shows
The fantastic pier at Cromer hosts a number of shows and special events. Well worth checking out what is on during your self catering holiday, with plenty for children and adults alike. There is also a bar, a restaurant, and a gift shop which has a number of unusual gifts and souvenirs.
