Hippodrome CircusThe Historic Hippodrome is Britains only surviving TOTAL Circus Building, built in 1903 by the legendary Circus showman George Gilbert. The Pavillion TheatreOpened in the Summer of 1901, the Pavilion Theatre is an original Edwardian building with a seating capacity of 300, situated on the Norfolk coast. We are proud to be open all year round staging Plays, Pantomimes, Musicals, Concerts as well as our popular 26 week Summer Season. The building celebrated its centenary in 2001 (a miracle considering that it almost didn't get built in the first place!) and we hope that you will come and visit us to ensure the Theatre's survival for at least another 109 years.
